Keep Callm Don't Be a Bully!

When Amari came to me and told he can't take the bullying anymore and that he spends his entire recess running from other kids trying to harm him, so I had to do something about it! I went to the principal and asked him if I can help be a part of the solution. The principal agreed and I designed a PowerPoint presentation to showing kids how not to bully or be a bystander, especially to kids with special needs. I also took it a step further and started  Keep Callm Don't be a Bully 501c3 Non Profit Organization. Today, KCDBAB gets to be apart of the Bullying Intervention Program once a month at Amari's school. Instead of being that angry parent, I went into this with an open mind and heart to help. So many families are busy surviving and our children are frustrated and alone, We have to reach these kids and speak life into them daily, and I am willing to do what it takes to reach as many as I can.

My inspiration

When you have a child with Autism, and you feel like giving up,  understand you are that child's parent for a reason.  Focus on the solutions and you will notice the journey is more gratifying than you thought.

Word of the day is BULLIED~
So many children on the Autism spectrum are BULLIED and sometimes misunderstood. If you know a child with Autism, take the time to say an encouraging word or two, it could Brighten up their day!
